Desinformação, fake news e falta de respeito ao meio ambiente pautam o vídeo de “Extra, Extra”.
A banda londrina SSHH está de volta com o videoclipe da eletrizante “Extra, Extra”, que conta com a participação do carioca BNegão. O clipe foi filmado no Rio de Janeiro, no estúdio do produtor musical Liminha, e dirigido pelo inglês Gwil Doe. A química entre os artistas se concretizou numa música anárquica, eletrônica, roqueira. O som é uma espécie de hardcore eletrônico de 2020, uma mistura de Atari Teenage Riot com Prodigy.

Em “Extra, Extra” a cantora Sharna “Sshh” Liguz exala sua verve punk enquanto chama a atenção para a questão das notícias que a grande mídia produz. Inconformada em como a verdade se tornou tão “contaminada”, ela conta com a retórica certeira do rapper BNegão.

“Numa era em que todas as respostas estão a um clique, por que é tão difícil distinguir fato de ficção? Como foi que a verdade se tornou tão distorcida?”, indaga Sharna ‘Sshh’ Liguz. “Notícias falsas estão por todo o lado: coronavírus, alterações climáticas, incêndios na Austrália, agressão sexual. ‘Extra, Extra’ é uma observação das fake news. É hora de levantar, se unir e iniciar a era da verdade”, completa a cantora australiana.
A conexão entre BNegão e o duo SSHH (formado por Sharna ‘Sshh’ Liguz e Zak Starkey) aconteceu em julho de 2019, quando eles vieram ao Brasil para promover o lançamento do selo Trojan Jamaica e da coletânea Red, Gold, Green & Blue.
“BNegão é um cara de atitude certa e com uma moral muito sólida. Ele tem uma grande habilidade de combinar múltiplos estilos musicais sem perder seu senso de anarquia”, afirma Sharna ‘Sshh’ Liguz.

Lyrically ambiguous and sonically political, “Extra Extra” is an observation of the extremist ‘fake news’.
Sshh says, “In a world where we have unlimited information at our fingertips, the truth has been tainted with misdirection and censorship of inconvenient news. It’s time to stand up, work together to bring forth a new age of truth.”
Launched in 2019, the new record label Trojan Jamaica, founded by Zak Starkey and Sharna Sshh Liguz, released the compilation, Red, Gold, Green & Blue, which reached the top ten on Billboard’s Reggae chart. With glowing reviews from publications such as Rolling Stone and Riddim Magazine, and high rotation on BBC radio and SiriusXM, it was a good year for great music.
It was on a promotional tour in Brazil where the duo met Brazilian hip-hop legend BNegão (Planet Hemp). BNegão is a huge talent with a masterful ability to combine multiple styles for most excellent results. Planet Hemp, are like the Brazilian Cypress Hill with a touch of Rage Against The Machine.
